Yesterday morning Jay and I decided to surprise the kids and take them up to the cabin for the day. It was a busy but fun day. We started out fishing in boats right next to eachother, but then the prop fell off of Jay's trolling motor in the little boat. So then we tied up the 2 boats together. That went pretty good - and the kids thought it was cool:) We caught some fish, played around at the cabin for the evening then took off for home. We couldn't believe how many deer we saw on the way home!!!!! It was unbelievable, we saw hundreds. There were nice bucks, does with their babies and whole herds. We saw a lots of little bambi's with their mama's even right by the side of the road - it was so cool!!!!

I just love those surprise getaways! I'm glad you all had a good time.
We're seeing lots of deer here too.
