All of the other kids can get their own water from the sink, so Ruby decided that she needs to as well!

Bod-Man

OK, so Adam gets off the bus and his friend Jordan is with him and they run in the house and are all excited the other day. Jordan is like " Hey Julie guess what, my cousin gave me man-spray!!" I'm like "Oh yeah let me see it, and sure enough, he pulls a bottle of Bod-Man cologne out of his back-pack. By then, I am feeling dizzy because of the fumes that followed the boys in. So now Adam and Dillon have been begging me for "man-spray" - pleeeeeeease mom, next time you go to the store will you buy us man-spray??????? So today I was in Meijer and I found a 3-pack of cologne for $5.99 (you know that is gonna smell great, right?) and I caved, they now have their man-spray and I am gonna have to teach them that they only need one squirt, because apparently after his shower last night when Adam got into Jay's cologne, he thought half the bottle would do the trick! Well wish us luck over here we may be using a lot of Tylenol to combat the headaches!

Other News
Yesterday I had another prenatal check-up and everything is going very well and is right on track, I forgot how quick those prenatal check-ups are! I think that I only saw the doctor for about 2 minutes. He just checked the baby's heartbeat and measured my belly and that was it!! But those 2 minutes are really great - I LOVE hearing the heartbeat! I don't think it will be too long before I need maternity pants - I am really losing my waist fast. I think the more kids you have carried, the quicker your waist goes. Anyway, that is what seems to be true for me. I am really enjoying feeling better these days. The first part I was very nauseous all day and night, I am so thankful to be feeling better and more energetic now.
UPDATE ON DILLON: Dill is doing so much better this morning!! I can't believe the difference just one day on these antibiotics makes. He barely left the couch yesterday and today he is already up and around and asking to start his homework for going back to school!!

Sick Again!
I want to send out a request for prayers for Dillon. He is STILL sick. He starts to look better for a day and then he is just down and out again. This has been going on since last week Tuesday. He is really miserable today. I am taking him to the doctor at 11:30 today and REALLY hoping that they have some answers.
UPDATE: Dillon went to the doc this morning and he had a bad ear infection. So while his body was fighting the first virus that that he had, another infection came and his body was just having a hard time fighting it. We now have an antibiotic and are hoping that in the next day or 2 he will be back to his normal happy self!

Last Days of Spring Break
This past weekend we decided to take the kids up to the cottage for the last part of their spring break. Dillon and Jay left on Thursday for a special "father/son" time, and the rest of us came up on Friday afternoon. The weather was kind of chilly, but we all still had a good time. The kids and Jay rode quads and dirtbikes, and we had a couple of campfires with marshmallows. Both nights around 6:00 we went for a car ride down dirt roads in search of wild life, and we were not disappointed. The second night we had Adam make a tally sheet of the animals that we saw, we didn't see as many this night as we did the first night, but it was still fun. Here are the tallies:
- Wild Turkeys - 38
- White tail deer - 55
- Hawks - 2
- Gray or black squirrel - lots of them
- Birds - lots of them
- Horses - lots of them
- Cows - lots of them
- Herons - a whole field - like 100 or more (that was weird)

First Day of Spring Break
The kids have had a very fun first day of their break. The weather has been great almost all day! I don't think the boys have even been in the house for more than 5 minutes all day. Here are some pics of their day.
The kids all fixing their bikes.
All the girls having a concert in their bedroom, they are using Ruby's bedposts as microphones!

Boys and Their Toys
OK so I get a phone call this morning from Jay, and he says: "I just got some good news!" Well, good ne
ws for me anyway, I don't really know if you'll like it." So for a brief second, I was all excited that he was gonna tell me something great - not so much..... it turns out this guy had an old motorcycle in his pole barn and he just wanted to give it to Jay. He is all excited and can't wait to work on it - (I think it needs a lot of work) but it fired right up after a couple of kicks, that really blew my mind, I never even really thought it would start. So, our cram-packed garage just got a little fuller. Just wonderful.......
