Last Days of Spring Break
This past weekend we decided to take the kids up to the cottage for the last part of their spring break. Dillon and Jay left on Thursday for a special "father/son" time, and the rest of us came up on Friday afternoon. The weather was kind of chilly, but we all still had a good time. The kids and Jay rode quads and dirtbikes, and we had a couple of campfires with marshmallows. Both nights around 6:00 we went for a car ride down dirt roads in search of wild life, and we were not disappointed. The second night we had Adam make a tally sheet of the animals that we saw, we didn't see as many this night as we did the first night, but it was still fun. Here are the tallies:

Wow - there is really a lot of wildlife there. What fun!
I've never seen that many herons at one time! Wow! That must have been quite a sight! Glad you had a good time with the family! Sounds like a lot of fun!!
