Happy Birthday Baby Zaria!!

At 4:17pm one year ago baby Zaria was born!! It was my quickest delivery of the 4 kids that I delivered. I was having some contractions when I woke up in the morning and so I walked around for a while and they kept coming very evenly and getting closer together. I called the doctor and they called me back after a while and said I better come in and get checked. So my mom came over and we went and got Ruby from young -5's and headed up to the hospital. At this point I was quite stressed out and concerned that it was gonna be just false labor so my contractions kind of stopped. When we got to the doc they called me right in and my Doc did an exam and I was 4 cm. He said "You better head across the skywalk and get checked in" I was so excited. For about 5 minutes. I excitedly called Jay and told him I was getting checked in and he had better have his work partner drop him off at home so he could come to the hospital. After the doctor told me I was dilated my stress level must have gone way down and I relaxed knowing that today was actually the day. By the time we walked to the elevators I could hardly stand up. Then by the time we got checked into the room, I couldn't stand the excited chatter of Naomi and Ruby I was in so much pain. I decided to call Jay back and have his partner drop him off at the hospital instead of home first (they were coming all the way from Ferrysburg). So he got there and my mom and the 2 little ones left and a few hours later baby Zaria was born!!!!! She is so much fun and such a wonderful, fiesty little blessing from the Lord.
