This past weekend Adam and Jason went "up north" for their very first deer hunt. Well Jason didn't hunt, he was accompanying Adam for the Youth Hunt. They had a wonderful time. They both really enjoy the outdoors and they loved sitting in the woods together enjoying God's creation. They hope to find somewhere local that they can get out and hunt together very soon. I am so excited for both of them, everytime my phone rang this weekend my heart was racing, thinking that Adam got one! Not this time, maybe next time.....
In other news, Naomi lost her first tooth at Aunt Katie's house this weekend while Katie was babysitting and I was at work. Naomi came running out the door when I got back to Katie's and smiled hugely so that I could see the little hole. Then Katie says, "There is one more little thing, Naomi was eating her apple and didn't even know that she lost her tooth." So then Katie found the apple that Naomi was eating to see if the tooth was in it. Nope. So apparently she swallowed her tooth! As her father so elegantly put it, "I hope it doesn't bite ya comin' out the other end!"

Her first tooth! Wow! My brother swallowed a tooth once too, the only bad part is that she won't get to keep it, or give it to the tooth fairy (if you do that).
I'm glad to hear that Adam had fun. They had a great weekend for the youth hunt!
