Mother's Day

This Mother's Day was so wonderful. The kids showered me with homemade gifts and flowers and I received beautiful flowers from Jay. I feel so blessed that God saw fit to entrust me with five of his precious little ones. I hope and pray that I can raise them so that they will bring glory and honor to His name. Each child is special in their own special way and I love them all with all my heart.

Adam, I love you. I love to watch you as you explore outside, I love your passion for God's creation. I love the way you care for others and take care of your brother and sisters. You are my firstborn and I love you.

Dillon, I love you. I love your sensitive heart. I love watching you play and wrestle with your dad. I love it that when you do something you do it with your whole heart! I love it that you still come and sit on my lap to cuddle, you know how to make your mommy's day.

Rosemy, I love you. I love your spunky ways. I love the way you always make cards for me. You have such a giving heart. I love to watch you get dressed up like a princess. I love that you love to take care of others. There is no doubt in my mind that you are gonna be a wonderful mommy some day.

Ruby, I love you. You are a tiny little girl with huge personality. I love to watch the way you play with Naomi. I love it that you love to STILL sleep with mommy and daddy. I think I love it even more than you do. You are so precious to me even when you call me a selfish booger.

Naomi, I love you. Your gentle spirit is such a joy to me. I am so proud of how you have grown this past year. I love it when you come up to me and say, "mommy I need a hug." I love to watch you play and pretend with your babies. You will always be my baby, I love you.

To my mom, I love you and am so blessed to have you for a mother. Thank you for your guidance to me as I was growing up and now especially as I am a mother. Thank you for everything.

Thanks for making me cry like a baby! Wah! You rock. You made me realize I need to stop nagging on my kids' negatives and focus more on the positives. Thanks for setting a good example of how a mom should build her kids up.
