Just a few things maybe you could pray about for us:
1. I am leaving tonight at 5:00 for our church highschool youth retreat. I am excited and nervous. Please pray for a good time for the kids and good bonds to be formed between us leaders and the kids.
2. I always miss Jay and the kids when I'm gone, but I last night Ruby came down with the stomach flu, so that will really be on my mind while I'm away.
3. Our youth pastor and his family really need prayers at this time.

First for everything Julie! Your first Highschool Retreat and my first time posting a comment on your site! The retreat will be fabulous! It always amazes me how much I grow and benefit from those retreats! Sometimes I feel guilty because I think I get more from being with the kids than what they get from me. I too am taking our high school girls out this weekend (leaving 7:00 a.m. on Saturday) and both Nate and Kobe are sick with flu/high fevers and we have the addition of a neighbor girl for the weekend. Perhaps Jason and Nick should call and cry on each others shoulders! I will be sending prayers your way. Please call and tell me all about your weekend.
