Good Weekend

This year for his birthday, Adam wanted an airsoft gun. It is kind of like a bb gun. We decided that he's old enough so he got one. This weekend the kids had a total riot with it. Adam, Dillon and Rosie got out their backpacks and filled them with hot water bottles to stay warm, blankets, extra gloves, snacks, and their teddybears. They all went out in the way back yard and hunted birds. I don't think that they got any, but at one point Adam thought that he might have nicked a bird because they found drops of blood in the snow. No bird though. Maybe next time! (Yes the pic above is him practicing in the house - it was very cold on his b-day and we wanted to let him try it out:)


We also went to Katie and Kris' house this weekend. The girls had a riot playing in Katie's front porch. Kate and Kris just finished working on their living room, their house is an old farmhouse so they had hardwood floors, electric, drywall and painting and trim carpentry to do. It turned out so beautiful!!!! Good job you guys!
