Yesterday Rosie and I embarked on a new adventure! Yarn extensions for her hair!! I had seen it on another adoptive mom's blog and then watched a different mom put on the extensions on Youtube, and I thought maybe we could try it. It turned out beautiful, Rosie loves it so much! She keeps looking in the mirror and smiling and whipping her hair all around her shoulders. I am so happy that she is going to enjoy the feel of longer hair for a while, she always talks of wanting long princess hair and these extensions give her a chance to experience it. And talk about cheap - all I had to pay was $2.59 for the skein of black yarn. The whole process took me about 4 hours to do, but I think if I did it again it would be maybe closer to 3 hours, having the experience of doing it once and seeing what works and what doesn't. Now she will be able to wear these extensions for up to 6 weeks, depending on how they wear and if they get fuzzy or not.
