Update

Today was Zaria's 2 month appointment. She did great! She weighed in at a hefty 13 lbs and 6 1/2 ounces. She has now doubled her birthweight!!!! Usually they look for that at about 6 months. But the doc said she looks great! All of her movements and abilities put her at about what they look for at 6 months as well. Yeah!! She did have to get 3 shots today which I hate, but she did well, her leggies are sore tonight but she is doing good.

On the way home from the doctor, I had the radio off so I could listen to Ruby and Naomi chatter, they are so fun to listen to, anyway Naomi was telling Ruby something that she wanted to do when we got home, and Ruby interrupted her and said, "You know Naomi, this is not our real home. Our real home is up there (pointing up) with Jesus." Naomi says, "Oh yeah, I know..." Ruby apparently didn't think she understood, so she tells her again, "Naomi, even our house that we are going to right now, that isn't our real home, our real home is up there with Jesus." Then she says, "But this earth, all of it everywhere, that belongs to Jesus too." My heart was smiling so huge to hear her say and understand all of this, I highly recommend just turning those radios, videogames, and tv's off and just listen to your children, it is truly a privilege and a blessing!!!

You're doing great! Zaria is doing well physically and Ruby shows that you and Jay are teaching them well too!

What a precious memory! Make sure you write that down somewhere because even though you probably will remember it, you don't want to take that chance! That's awesome!

Isn't it fun to know that stuff is sinking in? We were listening to my girls and thier cousins on Sunday at my mom's -amazing what deep theological conversations they can have and their all under 10.
