Yesterday was Jason and Ruby's birthday!! They had a great day and Ruby got lots of presents that she loved, except the hat in the bottom picture.....she hates it, I think it is so cute!!!! If you like it, maybe you will leave a comment telling her you LOVE it so she will wear it to school for mommy ;) Anyway, they love sharing a birthday it is very special for both of them! Ruby got to have her first "party" with her friend from school who's birthday is also the same day! It was a princess birthday party and all the girls got to dress up as princesses, it was really a neat party! Then to end out their day, we made icecream flurries for the whole family, Ruby hates birthday cake, so I decided this year to surprise her and get a special cup for the birthday girl for her flurry and she got to help Jason make them, then we called all the rest of the kids up for the surprise and they thought it was soooo cool, now they don't want birthday cake either, they all want icecream flurries when it's their birthday!!!
Late edit: I realized after reading Jennifer's comment, I didn't mention what Jay got for his birthday... I got him a coffee grinder and beans, which he loved because ever since I needed alot of help in the latter part of my pregnancy, he had done alot of work in the kitchen and really enjoyed it. He likes making stuff from scratch and enjoys the result of his hard work. I like it too, because it means less time in the kitchen for me!! Anyways, he really loved the grinder and wants to get all different kinds of coffee beans now to try, also we got him an mp3 player and beef jerky from the meat market which he loves! And sorry Jen, you just missed the crown in the pic with him and Ruby, he had just taken it off for the night ;)
