Yesterday, I was sitting by the kitchen table and I saw a cat sneak in the bottom of the gate in our backyard, then a couple of seconds later, a little kitten poked his head under the gate. Well, I should have known better, but I called Adam over and he was so excited and wanted to go check it out and maybe catch a kitten. The other kittens are quite fast and don't want to be caught, but this little guy got attacked by a wild animal and is missing the bottom half of one of his rear legs. It is healing up great and he can get around really well, but I don't think he can hunt like his brothers and sisters. Anyway, he is so cute and the kids named him Snowball and he stuck around last night after we gave him warm milk and kitty food and a warm box of hay under the deck - go figure, the kitten would choose food and shelter over wild animals ripping his limbs off ;) So now I don't know what to do...... Jay is allergic and we can't have cats inside, but the kids - including Jay have their hearts so into this little guy that they don't want him gone either.... I think Jay checked around the backyard and checked on the kitty more than the kids did even. He has always had such a heart for little creatures and this little hurt guy is no exception!!

That is so sweet!!!!!!!!
By the way did you get your dinner out of the refrig at church? If not let me know because it should be put in the freezer.
How adorable!!!
I'm not a big cat lover either and am also allergic but I can understand the "likability factor" for this cute little kitten! Poor thing - I think I would have a hard time NOT keeping it!
The kitty is cute, you could always let it be an outdoor cat or a garage cat.
I have to ask, Was Jay so maimed by the auto repair that you blocked his face from the picture?
HaHa
