I just wanted to quick update and thank you all for the prayers that have been offered up for our family as of late. We so appreciate all of you and your offers of help!!!! Thank you!
The updates are as follows:
Adam is doing very well!!! Praise God. He has been going to school this week and feeling good, I can tell he is pretty tired when he gets home but he has been wanting to stay all day at school when I go and check on him at lunchtime. It was also Adam's 9th birthday yesterday so we are so happy that he was feeling good enough to celebrate and enjoy his special day!! :)
Jenny is currently waiting in the hospital for the docs to figure out her situation. She is wanting to come home to be with Trent and McKenzie pretty badly. To explain a little about her situation, she had a tonsillectomy yesterday morning and was supposed to be home by noon. Trent called my mom around 1:00 or so and told her that Jenny was having complications, and stopped breathing a couple of times. At this point we didn't know if Jenny ever came out of anesthesia or not so we were very worried. Then we were supposed to hear back after a couple of hours and Trent never called. My dad beeped Trent and he couldn't talk, Jenny was having another episode. That was all the info we had at that point. So they transported her by ambulance to the hospital and she had another attack in the ambulance. We found out later that night what was happening was Jenny has a very heavy feeling constantly in the left side of her chest. Then all of a sudden it will get worse and it creeps up her upper chest and then in her throat and then her throat closes. Jay and I visited her last night and left around 9:00 and Trent had just gotten there with McKenzie. This morning my mom called and Jenny had a rough night because she was afraid to sleep because she was scared that it would happen again when she was sleeping. Then it did happen again around 2:00 am. Then they hooked her up to a blood oxygen monitor and she slept the rest of the night. She is currently waiting to find out what they will do - so continued prayers for her would be awesome.
Then, last night when I got home, I was talking to my mother in law and she told me that Jason's sister Sarah's baby, went to the doctor Monday night and because she had a fever and bad cough and they found out that she has pnemonia and RSV. She is only 3 months old and she has to be on breathing treatments for 4-5 hours per day for a little while.
That is all for now, but we will update with anything new - again, thanks for all the prayers!!
