This week's verse is from Jeremiah. Some of the kids in my highschool small group were telling us how special these verses are to them, so I think it is worthwhile to have them be the verses for this week.
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." Jeremiah 29:11-13

Julie - I love those verses. It struck me when I was reading them that we often stop at the first verse - those one about God's plans for us, and don't continue on to the verse about seeking him. I'm glad you included that verse.

Ditto to what Mari said. This is my number one favorite passage and I always stress that you have to apply it to your life thru vs. 13. I think most people stop at vs. 11.
ah!! one of my favorite passages! i have it written on a notecard beside my door. by the way, how did small group go last night? sorry if zack was late :) i miss youth group so much!!!!
Melissa, Small group went very well last night!! It went better than I ever expected!! I really think the kids liked it.
