Getting in the Groove

Now that the kids have been in school for a couple of weeks now, I kind of feel like we are all "getting into the groove" of our new schedules, what day is library day, what day hot lunch is on, new Bible memories and spelling words. It can be a little overwhelming at times, especially when I start to think ahead to having 5 in school and then the sports and all that good stuff that goes along with the kids getting older. As I was thinking about this I was reminded of a verse in Phillipians that reads: I can do everything through Him who gives me strength (Philippians 4:13). That is such a good reminder for me that even in the things that might not seem that big to someone else, God cares and He will give me what I need even if it is just keeping schedules and homework straight!!!!

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:4-7
