We arrived home this afternoon from our trip up north. Our time at the cabin was wonderful!! We all feel that the time passed too quickly, but are very thankful for the time that we were able to spend together doing the things that we all love!!
Our week of weather was absolutely perfect - sunny and 75 to 85 degrees all week! We were able to swim with the kids which was SO fun!! Rosie loves to swim, she asked every morning before we even had breakfast if we would get to swim that day.
We spent ALOT of time fishing and found out that ALL of our kids love it. Ruby and Naomi even wanted to hold their fish and throw them back in the water!! Ruby caught her first bass this week which was very exciting for her. She loved fishing so much she cried and cried when her couple of hours in the boat were over and it was someone else's turn.
The kids had a great time riding the four wheeler and dirt bike on all the dirt roads up at the cabin. Of course there is never a dull moment when there are little ones on motorized vehicles, like when Adam got chased by a dog and he stopped because he thought the dog wanted him to pet him, but the dog actually wanted to BITE him. Not to worry though, it just was a big bruise, no broken skin. Then, Adam and Dillon decided to ride their 4 wheeler on the trail and instead of looking in front of the quad at where he was going, Adam was looking back. He rolled the quad over. Again, no worries, nobody was hurt. Instead, the boys just think that it makes them cooler, because now they have stories to tell like their daddy!!!
